The 4 large International Institutes: IGI (International Gemmological Institute), HRD Antwerp, The GIA, and The De Beers Group of Companies, have for the first time ever acknowledged and certified a diamond cut as different from the classic round brilliant cut. The Leonardo Da Vinci Cut was awarded the prestigious acknowledgement, with all of its attributes and degrees of the cut, defined as the Leonardo Da Vinci Cut (LDV). For the first time in the history of diamonds, a diamond design has been recognised as a unique cut in itself, and different from the classic round brilliant diamond. An exciting milestone from a technical point of view, as the LDV cut has the potential to trump and replace the classic round brilliant. The Leonardo Da Vinci Cut proceeds to dominant the diamond market for its craftmanship and exceptional brilliance.

The LDV is not merely a new diamond cut, it is far more. Whilst combining the classic and historical values of a diamond, maintaining its symbolic worth as a luxury item and its incredible beauty, it also has a cultural depth with its cut incorporating the Divine Proportions, which no other diamond cut has, or can ever have.

The journey of the Leonardo Da Vinci Cut diamond from rough to the finished sparkling gem, is patented and strictly managed by two leading companies in their field, Amin Luxury and the Sim Ny Corp, world leader in diamond cutting and a company with one of the most advanced technologies available to the accurate cutting of gems, ensuring the authenticity and top quality of the diamond cut.

THE PATRONAGE OF THE
PALAZZO VECCHIO FLORENCE

The Leonardo Da Vinci Cut diamond has been selected and appropriately exhibited in the Halls of Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. The Palazzo Vecchio, designed and engineered by the architect Arnolfo Di Cambio also used the Golden Ratio formula. So both the Palazzo and diamond share the same mathematical formula,

and in turn it can be argued that the Palazzo’s beauty like the Leonardo Da Vinci Cut diamond, amplifies harmony, and is destined to last forever. Open to the public to see, the jewel is on display for all to admire, as well as acquire for personal delight.
